First travel agent in Brasil to sell SXC Tickets into space

Space Expedition Curacao announces a unique collaboration with Fernando Batelli to become the first space travel agent in Sao Paulo to assist in organizing our Brazil launch party. Both parties aim to provide an exceptional experience to their customers; a ticket into space.

Both Space Expedition Curacao and Fernando Batelli are operating within the high-end segment of the market. Those looking for adventure and innovation, for whom sky is not the limit. Space XC will offer people a truly life changing experience. USP is that it will offer customers an intimate space experience. Only one passenger at a time will be allowed on SXC’s Lynx space ship, taking off from its specially designed space station at Hato Airport, Curacao. They will experience unparalleled views of the earth and universe beyond. Lynx, a ground-breaking reusable space ship, has been equipped with new technology whereby rocket engines can be switched on or off at will. Passengers will sit in the craft and will be launched in to space, viewing earth from outside the atmosphere sitting next to their pilot, before heading back down to land.

Ticket sales

SXC’s spaceflights went on sale in April this year and the 2014 launch will coincide with the anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s first trip to space. A ticket costs $95,000 per person per flight.

Since the official ticket sales commenced, already 40 tickets have been sold. From today on we will be able to make this dream come true for the Brazilian people too and we expect to welcome many Brasileiros aboard our SXC Lynx shuttle in 2014.
